High Fire Exotics Glaze (HE) & Stoneware Exotics (SE)
 

The Chrysanthos  “High Fire Exotics” (HE) are variegated glazes for the use on middle fire clays are suitable to covering large areas. They are food safe and may be used on functional ware. The effect obtained will depend on the thickness of the glaze and on the surface that has been decorated.

• Using 2-3 solid coats to achieve desired coverage. Wait for coat to dry between applications

• Firing range between Cone 4 (1,186°C) – Cone 6 (1,222°C) when overfired will experience more glaze movement

​The Chrysanthos "Stoneware Exotic" (SE) range is an effect and variegated glaze range to enhance your stoneware bisque. These glazes are perfect for covering large surfaces and will elevate the beauty of any functional ware.

• Use 2-3 coats to achieve your desired coverage and wait for coats to dry between applications.

• Bleeding occurs where colors meet on a piece.

• Food safe

• Firing range between Cone 6 (1,222°C) – Cone 10 (1,305°C)  when underfired will experience less movement
