About the Artist!
Christine Gowland Grew up embracing all things creative from a young age. "My artistic path has opened me up to working with many different mediums"
Ceramics and watercolour painting are among her favourite mediums to work with. Recently writing and illustrating children's books has become a passion of hers. Christine grew up in Burlington Ontario and she currently resides in both Dundas, Ontario and Souris, PEI.
"Living so close to nature on our farm or on the ocean sets the stage for creative inspiration in my work. When you can take a cue from nature you create something magical".
This print will stretch through many projects with several elements on it including larger statement pieces. Printed on a 13x19 inch rice paper tissue. This transfer can be fired to a range of 04-10.
If using Low fire - cone 04-06 or under cone 6 transfers cannot be left unglazed. Use glaze that best corresponds to your firing temp and ensure that the transfer is fully covered.
If using Mid - High fire- cone 6-10 transfers can be left unglazed. Use glaze that best corresponds to your firing temp where you wish. It is not necessary to cover the transfer at these temps.
